Endometriosis / testimonial
My name is Roma and I have endometriosis. When I saw my GYN doctor a few months ago I was told that I had to do surgery again because of the pain. The pain had become unbearable. I did not want to do surgery. He told me my options were to do the surgery or acupuncture. I did not want to do surgery and I hate needles. I had to make a choice. I went home and told my parents what the doctor told me. My father then told me about an acupuncturist that he had seen about 10 years ago. He said that she was a wonderful person and really cared about her patients. He said that she was the only person that had helped him with his slipped disc injury. The chiropractor did nothing for him. I called her the next day. To my surprise when I told her who I was she remembered my father. The same response he gave me about her was the same response she gave me about him. I made an appointment and went to see her 2 days later. My first impression of this Dr was that she was a happy person. She just had a smile the whole time that we talked and she told me she would do her best to help me. When I went to see her I was in a lot of pain. I had pain a few days before I got my period and during my period. It’s now been about 2 1/2 months later and the pain has been drastically reduced. I decided that I will continue seeing her for as long as I can because she has helped me a lot. I enjoy the acupuncture and look forward to my visits. For anyone who suffers from endometriosis or has pain from anything else and your tired of all the painkillers, birth control pills and what ever else you take, my advice is to please try acupuncture especially with Dr. Woo you will have no regrets. I have been suffering from pain with endometriosis since I was 14 years old I’m now 34, I have taken Motrin 800, Lupron injections, birth control pills and have even had surgery done but I can tell you that the acupuncture has really helped me.
